Gold from Straw
"The Grimm Brothers’ fairy tale, “Rumpelstiltskin,” reveals an early alchemical phenomenon known at the time as “spinning straw into gold.” The methods described in the children’s story are obscure, but the concept lives on in many cultures, such as the Hebrew version, “Utzli-Gutzli,” which outlines the story of making gold out of Matzo crumbs. Modern Alchemists, especially Advanced Emeriti Alchemists have carefully studied these early German children’s stories for clues and have made significant progress employing the new found knowledge to the conversion of cedar sawdust into industrial grade diamonds through the application of heat and compression using specially designed chambers that are heated by energy derived from an array of Solar Scare Crows® at the BHI Applied Research Laboratories in Leverett." The same BHI Alchemy Group has also successfully derived ethanol from Cedar sawdust using a special Leverett Strain® of Cellulosic bacteria and are now pressing forward with plans to turn sawdust into Gold. The primary beneficiary of this work is the Emeriti Pension Enlargement Fund.

Will this vast resource be converted into gold, and thus secure the prime Emeriti objective of Pension Enlargement? (See December issue).
