Emeriti Smart Methane Car™ Employs the BHI Fast Onboard Digester™

Smart Car with the BHI Fast Onboard Digester™
to provide convenient Methane fuel for Urban dwellers. |
LEVERETT-- The BHI Center for Agricultural Research and Applied Digestion Technology has developed a revolutionary concept for decentralizing the production of Methane Gas for fueling Smart Cars in dense Urban settlements. The
BHI Fast Onboard Digester™ produces fuel grade Methane Gas using a proprietary compact digester unit that is located in the vehicle's trunk space and accepts refried bean waste supplied by local fast food restaurants in metropolitan areas. A patented double door access chamber allows loading of new refried bean waste with no unpleasantness.

Savvy urban drivers always carry a spare case of canned refried beans in the trunk when driving in rural areas where fast food establishments may be scarce. BHI has licensed its Fast Onboard Digester™ technology to Smart Car manufacturers with the aim of reducing our dependance upon non-renewable fossil fuels, while at the same time recycling tons of refried bean waste that now burdens our municipal waste streams. The resulting compost generated by the BHI Fast Onboard Digester™ unit may be used to grow vegetables and flowers.
This technological innovation advances older agricultural protocols that produced Methane from cow manure, which proved to be inappropriate according to early urban focus groups.
